Install an application from the SDcard in Android

1. First you need to set the permission to install non-authorized applications. You only need to do this step once:

           1.  Open the phone settings

     2. Select the applications option

      3.Tick Unknown sources. Allow install of non-Market applications

2. Then go to the market and install ES file explorer (any file explorer will do but ES file explorer is the best). Again you only need to do this once.

3. Connect the usb and copy the apk file to the SDcard

4. Open ES file explorer and select the apk file you copied to the SDcard.

5. Install the app by following the on screen directions
