SERP Attacks Review

Free SEO software are usually ugly, not user friendly and don’t really work, this is not the case for Serp Attacks. Although Serp Attacks has a paid version as well, most of the important features offered by the software are available in the free version of this software as well. As you may have guessed by the name of this software, this software was developed by the team that has brought you Tweet Attacks (one of the most popular twitter SEO applications) so you know this application comes from a reliable source.

Bellow you will find a list of all the features offered by the application:

SERP Analyzer:

Let’s say you want to analyze competition for a potential keyword in Google. This tool of the application gives you the competition you will face in terms of Backlinks, SiteLinks and Pagerank. It also gives you difficulty score about the keyword.

Keyword Research:

This tool is no Market Samurai (the market leader in keyword research) but the keyword analysis it provides is easy to produce and easy to read. As with all Keyword research software, when testing a new keyword it gives you a list of alternatives along number of Monthly and local searches, an estimate of the competition, the Keyword Effectiveness Index (KEI) and Google search trends. A nice feature of this application is that it can also search for each suggested click for related Amazon and Clickbank products and for available domains to hit that keyword.

Rank Tracker:

Basically a position analysis tool for your webpage for Google, Bing, Yahoo, Altavista and Ask. A nice utility of this program is that it also offers to do the same research for your competitors.

Backlink checker:

This part of the tool uses either Google or Yahoo to find the backlinks to a webpage (I suggest using Yahoo as Googles link function is not really good). Along with each backlink you will see what type of domain it was posted on (local or global), the anchor text, the IP address of the backlink, the pagerank of the backlink and if a backlink is a dofollow or nofollow. There are another two columns with Internal and External links but I am not sure about the meaning of these columns.

PPC checker :

This is for me the least important feature of this tool. As with Google adwords it gives you the Cost per click of the add you want to run, the number of clicks per day and the average cost per day. It also gives you a bit more which is who else is advertising for this keyword.

Page ContentHelper:

This is basically an inpage SEO analysis of a webpage. It gives you the times a keyword is included in the keywords, description, content, title, headings, etc. Although it does not produce a report comparing what you inpage SEO your competitors have done with your webpage like Internet Business Promoter does, they have a huge difference in price tag as well.

Conclusion:

This tool a nice weapon to have in your SEO arsenal especially if you are just beginning in SEO since there is a free version of this software available as well.
