Traffic Travis Review

When I first downloaded the free version of Traffic Travis I really liked it; it was user friendly and really easy to use. However a few weeks after installing it, this software ended up laying in my desktop just taking up space. But yesterday after I reviewed Serp Attacks I realized that most of the features offered by that software were also offered by Traffic Travis as well. Bellow you will find a list of all the features offered by the software and my verdict of the software.

Keyword Tools

The keyword tool is nothing special. It offers a Keyword Finder which gives you the Daily search count in Google, Yahoo, Bing and the total search count in all search engines. There is also a Keyword Sorter which can remove phrases which are too large or too small, it can also remove phrases which have too large or too small search count.

Search Engine Tools

The search engine tool is the reason I actually downloaded the software. It gives you the current position for various keywords in Google, Yahoo,MSN Live,Ask.com and Altavista. Another nice feature of the software is that it has a feature to score the most popular websites competing for a keyword giving you a total rank and which of the search engines rank each website and in what position.

Another feature of this software you might find useful it can analyze the backlinks of a site either using Googles link option or yahoo site explorer as with Serp Attacks I suggest using Yahoo site explorer since it’s more reliable. For each backlink it gives you the Anchor text, the IP address of the server, the Page Rank of the site, the Traffic Rank, the Links In and Links out and finally if the backlink has a nofollow or dofollow attribute. It also gives a summary of how many backlinks you got from each pagerank, from each server, for which part of your site the backlnks were for and the type of domains these backlinks came from (edu, net, com, etc)

The software also has a feature to plot or report the keyword position for each your website.

PPC Analysis

This software PPC analysis is terrible when compared to other software such as Serp Attacks or even Google Adwords. The only feature of this software is an analysis of who is competing of Price Per Click adverts for the keyword you want to compete for, it does not even give you the average price for that keyword.

Page Analysis

This software can generate inpage SEO score and give you suggestion on what you should change to increase your inpage SEO score.

SEO Analysis

This software can also provide an SEO analysis providing you with:

• ·The pagerank of the websites that rank for the keyword
• The Age of their domain
• The number of backlinks for this part of the site
• Tthe number of backlinks for the whole site
• The number of backlinks for site from edu and gov links
• Inspection if the site is included in DMOZ and Yahoo directories
• Check if the sites include the keyword in their title
• Check if the sites include the keyword in their description
• Checks if the sites include the keyword in an G1 tag
• The number of days since google has re-cached this wesbite
• The number of local backlinks (depending on location you chose from)

Conclusion

This software for me is mostly about looks, although it can be useful I suggest using Serp Attacks instead.
